Banuk Hunter Bow Adept loaded up with damage and handling mods is my do everything weapon, other then some hunters lodge stuff I don't really use any of the element Bows/slings. Nora Silent Hunter Master Adept with 4x stealth mods paired with Shield-Weaver; most of my game play is stealth'ing around killing 1/2 enemies then equipping SW and Since Horizon Zero Dawn has so many weapons and outfits across the game, being able to reuse these upgrades is necessary, and that’s where Tinker comes in. Available at the bottom of the Forager When he does the claw swipes dodge toward him and shoot the batteries behind him with shock arrows. It' a guaranteed stun (can be done 4 times). Freeze him with icerail and shoot ice spikes in its eyes (or 3x hard point arrows) until it recovers. Repeat the stun until it dies.
Powershots. Triple Notch. Ammo Expert. These next set of Hunter Skills is to push your damage output to its limit. Ammo Expert and Triple Notch will feel similar to the previous game's gameplay, but Powershots will give you that edge of having a more focused shot like the Banuk Striker Bow from the previous game.

Tripcasters are kind of a pain to setup; most of the time I just jump right in arrows ablazing lol My suggestion is upgrade to at least blue tier weapons. Horizon Forbidden West features a total of 26 legendary weapons, with nine belonging to the base game, eight arriving in a New Game+ update, and a final nine appearing in the Burning Shores DLC. Forbidden West streamlines the weapons from Horizon Zero Dawn while expanding on them, allowing for more play style experimentation.

13. Shadow Hunter Bow. In general the hunter bow is Aloy’s weapon of choice. It is the first weapon you start with in the game, and can be upgraded as you find more items to work wtih. But the Shadow Hunter Bow is the best version of this reliable weapon.

Horizon Zero Dawn doesn’t have an outright best bow. Instead, weapons fall under a color-coded tier from green up to purple. The purple weapons are the Shadow weapons, and there are three of

The Shadow Sling is the purple variant of the weapon. It's available for purchase once you reach Daytower, for the price of 650 Metal Shards and 1 Crystal Braiding. It has 3 mod slots and 40 u1RKUjq.
