Replacement: tailgate struts – Citroen Xsara Picasso. Recommended sequence of steps: Step 1. Open the boot lid. Step 2. Support the boot lid. Use a hydraulic transmission jack. Step 3. Release the circlip connecting the gas strut to the car body.
Location: Northumberland. Start by trying to reset the 'anti pinch'. Take the window all the way down then back up again, persisting until it goes to the top and hold the button in the 'up' positioon for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, have a look at the guides for damage. After that, it's back to the repair shop.

Citroen C4 2006 - Reprogramming Citroen C4 remote key. The battery was flat in the remote control key to car. A friend took the battery out and told me to get it replaced.    Now on enquiring from Halfords, apparently unless the battery is replaced with new one within 10 minuites, all the programme data is wiped off and key will need reprogramming.

1 Reply KASEKENNY MECHANIC 18,907 POSTS Unfortunately we don't have a manual on this vehicle however, in general the sensor is part of the switch. Basically it is a sensor that is in the switch that determines the position of the switch. So while I can't confirm this on this part due to not having a manual but I suspect it is included in the part.

The mechanisms between a power window and a manual window are different, however, if the window of your Citroen Grand C4 Picasso is stuck in the open or closed position , it will not replace much on the technical side, but in the open position it is necessarily more irritating, you risk to have your vehicle stolen, or to go through bad weather and that the inside of your Citroen Grand C4
